Candice Hoeppner was first elected to the House of Commons in 2008 and re-elected in May 2011. She has served as the Chair of the Standing Committee on Human Resources, Skills and Social Development and the Status of Persons with Disabilities, and as Vice-Chair of the Standing Committee for the Status of Women.

Prior to entering federal politics, Ms. Hoeppner worked in the financial planning industry and managed her own consulting firm.

Ms. Hoeppner lives with her family in Winkler, Manitoba.
