Ottawa, February 8, 2012 – “At this time my thoughts are with the two Royal Canadian Mounted Police officers who were shot and injured yesterday while on-duty in Alberta.
This incident is a further reminder of the dangers faced by our police officers on a daily basis.
I look forward to those responsible being brought to justice.”
