Successful Implementation
Once a crime prevention approach or program has been selected, the work to implement it begins. Developing partnerships, a multi-year work plan, a budget and logic model will guide the implementation of a crime prevention initiative and help keep everyone on track. Hiring and training staff, finding the right participants and engaging them successfully are also critical components of implementation.
