A service standard is a public commitment to a measurable level of performance that clients can expect under normal circumstances. Public Safety Canada (PS) has established services standards for all of its transfer payment programs*.

Transfer Payments' Service Standard Results

Public Safety Canada (PS) is committed to reporting on service standards for its transfer payment programs on an annual basis. Results from this reporting period are as follows:

For the period of April 1, 2017 to March 31, 2018

Acknowledging the receipt of a funding request: 15 Business days

Results: 84% of all proposals were acknowledged within 15 business days

Communicating a funding decision after receiving a completed application is submitted: 52 Weeks

Results: 100% of all funding decisions were communicated within 52 weeks

Issuing a payment following receipt of all required documentation: 30 Business days

Results: 93% of all payment requests were sent within 30 business days
