Résumé

This is a chronicle of Saskatoon's infamous "freezing deaths" and the schism between a fearful Aboriginal community and the Saskatoon Police Force. One winter night in 2000, Darrell Night, a native man, was driven by two officers to a field on the outskirts of the city and left in -20 degree temperatures. He survived, but was stunned when he later heard that the frozen body of another Aboriginal man had been discovered in the same area. Days later, another victim, also Native is found. When Night came forward with his story, he set into motion an investigation into several suspicious deaths.
