This document is the proceedings of the workshop which assessed the potential consequences of loss of territory for the jihadist group known as Daesh. The workshop was designed around the work of four researchers from the Middle East and Europe, and benefited from the insights of security practitioners representing a range of domestic and international experiences. The papers presented at the event form the basis of this report.
